Phil Ivey
Just because Phil Ivey will sit down at the table in the show High Stakes Poker later on, I want to dedicate a post just for him. I want to honour a player that is, in my opinion one of the best poker players in the world.

I was just searching around in the world wide web, had nothing better to do, (a bit bored eh?). Any how, I have found some quite amusing moments on the one and only Phil Hellmuth.
You heard it, the people who organize the World Series Of Poker are preparing for over 10,000 entrants to this years main event in World Series Of Poker. If they are correct, the number of players will increase with over 14 % from last years main event, which had a astonishing number of players participating in this event, 8,773 players.
I have just read an article by Daniel Negreanu, about making money of playing poker. Negreanu is saying it’s all about finding the “suckers” in the casino, and don’t let the sucker be you.
Poker after Dark is up and running again, after a short break. This show is like, different Sit and go’s, with a buy in of $20.000 and winner takes it all. 6 players seated on the table. This weeks episodes includes Jennifer Harman, Jennifer Tilly, Patrik Antonius, Phil Gordon, Phil Ivey and Erick Lindgren. Some topnotch players that makes a really tough table. And i think Tilly is most certain the weakest player at the table, though she has upgraded her play most recently. Maybe got some inside tips from her boyfriend. Mr Laak

Today is a fine day, a day with a brand new episode of High Stakes Poker!
S03e09 to be exact. This week’s episode includes some of the old school of HSP, like Daniel Negreanu, Phil Laak and Mike “The Mouth” Matusow. But some newcomers joins the show and it all starts with a large pot with two of the newcomers, Illya Trincher and Dan Harmetz. Seated for the first time in High Stakes Poker is as well Chris “Jesus” Ferguson, playing a bit boring (read; very conservative
)

Any how, a very good episode as always. A lot of smack talk and interesting play, like back to back steals with 72 offsuit.
Just finished watching the whole season 1 of PPT, Professional Poker Tour. One thing hit me, aggressive play is really a winning style. I want to call myself an aggressive player, but take a look at Toto’s game in Professional Poker Tour, season 1, final table at Bay 101. I never seen an aggressive player like that, really fun to watch. Too bad it didn’t work out this time, but he really put the pressure on the opponents, me like!

Soon, all the Texas chapters in Super System 2 is read, my precious bible. What to read next? Thinking about reading some about Omaha in Super System 2, though my skills in that game is kinda… fishy for the moment. See if Mr. Bobby Baldwin can help me with that.
