Have you ever felt like you played against some hustlers when playing live poker?

I don’t think you are the only one. Sometimes it feels like some players are playing with each other rather than against each other. And you have a greater feeling that this happens when you are running bad, or just are playing bad. I recently found a rather interesting clip on the internet, a scam called “drunken poker”.

Of course there are two players who know each other that do the scam towards the other, unwitting players. To summarize it, a player acts like he is very drunk and plays really weak. When he has given away some money, his friend is dealing, giving everyone monster hands but of course his friend, the drunk guy has the winning hand.

I wonder how common this is at the different poker rooms, hopefully not that common.

But I have to say, quite a act the two guys are pulling of, I would fall for it for certain.
