A fine day

Today is a fine day, a day with a brand new episode of High Stakes Poker!

S03e09 to be exact. This week’s episode includes some of the old school of HSP, like Daniel Negreanu, Phil Laak and Mike “The Mouth” Matusow. But some newcomers joins the show and it all starts with a large pot with two of the newcomers, Illya Trincher and Dan Harmetz. Seated for the first time in High Stakes Poker is as well Chris “Jesus” Ferguson, playing a bit boring (read; very conservative :) )

Any how, a very good episode as always. A lot of smack talk and interesting play, like back to back steals with 72 offsuit.

Alfredo “Toto” Leonidas

Just finished watching the whole season 1 of PPT, Professional Poker Tour. One thing hit me, aggressive play is really a winning style. I want to call myself an aggressive player, but take a look at Toto’s game in Professional Poker Tour, season 1, final table at Bay 101. I never seen an aggressive player like that, really fun to watch. Too bad it didn’t work out this time, but he really put the pressure on the opponents, me like!

Super System 2

Soon, all the Texas chapters in Super System 2 is read, my precious bible. What to read next? Thinking about reading some about Omaha in Super System 2, though my skills in that game is kinda… fishy for the moment. See if Mr. Bobby Baldwin can help me with that.

Virginity

Alright boys and girls, lets take this blog on the road and crush the precious virginity on this soon world famous poker blog.

This is Pokergubben writing about nothing and everything regarding poker at its finest. (And some of my daily life and routine).

Don’t worry, I will spare you listening to my endless bad beat stories. (Most of them :) )

Happy reading and may the pots be huge and the cards live!
